Position Overview:
A media company is looking for a 3D Generalist with 3 to 4 years of experience in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering. The ideal candidate should be proficient in industry-standard 3D software, have a strong artistic sense, and be capable of working on diverse media projects, including advertising, animation, and visual effects.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Asset Creation: Design and develop high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for various media projects.
- Animation & Rigging: Create smooth and realistic animations and rigging setups for characters and objects.
- Lighting & Rendering: Implement effective lighting techniques and optimize rendering processes for high-quality output.
- Visual Effects (VFX): Integrate effects like particles, smoke, fire, and fluid simulations to enhance projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, animators, and VFX artists to bring creative concepts to life.
- Project Management: Handle multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Software Proficiency: Use industry-standard software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, ZBrush, and Adobe Suite.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues related to modeling, animation, and rendering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 to 4 years in 3D design, animation, or a related role.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalent tools.
- Artistic & Technical Skills: Strong understanding of modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering.
- Creativity: Ability to conceptualize and execute unique 3D visuals for various media applications.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure high-quality outputs with precision in textures, shading, and movement.
- Communication & Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a creative environment and take feedback constructively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, 3D Design, Visual Effects, or a related field.
- Experience working in media, advertising, or gaming industries.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity is a plus.
